After reading through four truck magazines I get on a monthly basis, I discovered that there are only a few of us who care about the use of pipe for bumpers. By that I mean, 99.9% of every truck pictured and 99.9% of every product sold, in some way lifts or lowers the factory stance.
Apparently, it doesn't matter how high/low a bumper is, nor what it is made of. The masses seem to think being lower or higher than what you hit is the most important thing, judging by the number of trucks that are "slammed", "lowered" or "lifted".
