Listen Tony. I have been dancing around this thread with humor but... You can keep talking until you are a LILblue in the face but the arguments used against pipe bumpers were simply layed out for anyone to understand. Your first reaction was to be rude, your second reaction was to say it was just too new of an idea for us old folk to understand. Your last argument is that the pipe idea is so old your grandfather invented it. Well, just because he had no fender benders on his farm with his farm equipment doesn't negate the arguments stated above about using round shaped bumpers and their effect of redirecting the other vehicle below or above said bumper.
