I have been unable to get my daily fix of Stovebolt Forum for the last few days, however it appears my comments regarding the "Old Schoolers" and "forward thinking mentality" have invoked the ire of a few fellow stovebolters. If, in fact, I have irritated someone/anyone, I intended only to encourage "thinking outside the box".
In any event, I see we all are very passionate about our hobbies, interests, professions and all other things of importance, therefor we all have our opinions about what is the right approach to fixing a problem or addressing an issue. And to each his own!
In closing, my experience with a pipe bumper on my first vehicle, namely an old Chevy truck, was a pleasant one, with no adverse side effects, I encourage anyone to do the same, if they desire. Whether one considers themself an Old Schooler, Old Timer, Jet Setter or the New Kid on the block, we all have enovative thoughts and opinions. Since there was no malicious intent, on my part, I would hope no one would take offense. No harm intended! Happy Holidays and I hope Santa brings you everything your heart desires.
