Glad to hear you had good results Weeds!
I have a early 90's white GM truck with the peeling paint problem, I used some rustoleum gloss white and it came out pretty good, at least ten times better then peeling off paint
I'm also planning on an at home paint job for the bolt, won't be perfect but it will be fun and it is mine.
