That is great to hear. I too tried my hand at painting in the last couple weeks. I painted my dash and someof the interior trim parts. I am pretty pleased with the outcome but nowhere near taking the leap into the big exterior panels.
My problem is not application of the paint...it is the prep and body work that is needed. No clue how to even go about it. Nor do I have a deep desire to have the mess in my garage (which is attached to my house).
I used a cheap HVLP system I bought for just over $50. It really worked great for these smaller parts.
