After all the encouragement I got from everyone on the 1st "Paint it myself" thread I still had my doubts. Well, I tried it. Used the Martin Senour" Crossfire" system from my local NAPA store. Guess what? I painted the firewall, rear fender wells and the entire underside of my sub in Forest Green base/clear just to see if I could do it. I got a few runs in the clear on the firewall. Sanded them out and recoated and it came out really nice. Gaining confidence I painted the interior its Tan color with no runs. It looks great. I have the body up on 2 four foot high saw horses so I can stand inside and reach the whole interior. Thanks to all you guys who encouraged me. You know who you are. I am confident I can do a good job on the exterior now. Weeds
