When I did mine there didn't seem to be a whole lot of options. It seems like they need to originate behind the seat and in front of the fuel tank if it is still in the stock location. If they are under the seat it looks like they would just push the lower seat forward and not hold you back in a crash. My concern was routing the belts over/thru the stock seat frame in a way that wouldn't cut the belt in the event of a crash. If you are concerned about crash protection there are posts and tips on how to modify the cab for a shoulder harness. I didn't do that and don't like to think about what the steering wheel and column will do in the event of a crash.
