Black pipe from Home Depot (in standard lengths, and, they cut/thread custom lengths for free).
I got my 1/2" shut off ball-valves from Harbor Freight. They do not sell them anymore. Check eBay.

I never had moisture in the lines (never had to drain moisture from the separator).
Moisture is a killer if you use the air for painting.
