I'm impressed! You followed everybody's suggestions and reported on your findings in a logical fashion that allowed us to help you out. The frustrating part of long-distance troubleshooting is that virtually everybody tries to jump to conclusions and do stuff that makes no sense, or they skip an important step along the way and fail to find the source of the problem. Problems that some of us oldtimers with decades of experience would find in a matter of minutes because we use a time-proven sequence of tests sometimes takes weeks to accomplish when somebody else is turning the wrenches and taking the voltage readings!
