It's not MO but here in FL - I bought my 1950 3100 back in the 90's. The PO had the truck titled and I just had to have a police officer come out and verify the identification number on the title (stamped engine #) matched the title. He signed off on it and I took the signed transfer title into the DMV. They immediately issued a new title in my name.
