Please excuse/forgive me for posting this (I am feeling nostalgic - my Suburban is trapped/resting in a garage in NC):
Leon Thompson owned/established the used auto parts yard/farm.
Leon Thompson, Jr ran the farm when I regularly visited in late-60s and early-70s. His young son was usually near the office (down hill from their home), which became surrounded with vehicles and storage-shed school buses.
I do not know if the personal name "Leon" is related to the location name "Leon". But, I do know why they had/have the motto "the walking man's friend", with a friendly "Here tis" on the sign on the front of the main shed.
If your car needed to get fixed, you'd be walking, and when you wandered the yard/farm/area you'd do a lot of walking,
Several sheet-metal/body parts on my Suburban (and the 261 engine) came from Leon's around 1972-1974.
