"I hereby state, and mean all that I say, that I never have been and never will be a candidate for this office; that if nominated by any party, I should peremptorily decline; and even if unanimously elected I should decline to serve."
Besides, the ODSS Bylaws state quite clearly that the office of Rush Chair is a solely binding office and that the incumbent can hold no other office simultaneously.
