I had a post running in General on what color to paint my dash. Maybe you saw it. I finally pulled out of the pile my old dash and put some rubbing compound to it to take a look at the original color which if Biege "Hammered". After looking this over the Hammered must mean the fish eyed appearance that the paint has.
Anyone out there know how to get that hammered effect? Is there a special product, procedure, method to do this. Or is this something that they did way back when in the factory, and we just can't duplicate it now.
Any help out there? comments?
