Denny, I'll get a pic this afternoon. As expected it is half worn out on where the bottom of the shaft rode the bushing. It certainly appears original and it had 60 years worth of carbon flakes built up in the intake manifold.
I have it blasted cleaned ect and have decided that I will take the shaft to Ace Hardware with me and see if I can get one that fits good and then I'll drill the manifold out if I need to. I've drove vehicles with the damper removed and they can be a pain until the engine is "up to temp".
