I am just providing the information on the hydraulic one, hoping someone else will chime in on the solid one. Is there no way to take a calipers and determine the differences that would only be apparent between intake and exhaust, or between solid and hydraulic?
A guy puts a solid lifter cam on the workbench alongside a hydraulic one. He comes in the next day and forgot which one was which. How does he tell?
