LOL! Forgot about that post! I never had the opportunity to meet Tyrone Malone, but we were both in central California about the same time in the mid-1970's. He had an Allison V-12 gasoline engine out of a P-40 fighter plane in the rig that topped the Grapevine at 120 MPH (loaded) and got that famous speeding ticket. It ran 115 octane aviation gasoline at the rate of 7 gallons per minute at full throttle. He built some killer Diesel trucks a little later. Quite a guy!
