It wouldnt be hard at all to adapt your blast cabinet to have a "divert valve" from the sand or whatever in the lower cabinet to a siphon system where you can put a large coffee can or something in the cabinet filled with baking soda or whatever. Hmmmmm. Or better yet, a second lower cabinet bin (5 gallon bucket under the cabinet). Doesnt matter if they mix really for most purposes.
Naaaaaaw! A paint gun pressure regulator works great to dial in all the pressure from nothing to 120. With that capability, 40 psi and #1 silica sand and it just doesn't get any better. The 40 psi makes the CFM irrelevant to a point. Most compressors can put out 40psi all day.
I didn't come by this information over a year or two. I got so tired of trying different media and getting sub standard results. For me, the final answer and the end of the misery of testing is over. I can devote my time and effort to moving ahead with my projects. If I had any faith in the CDC and the ignorance of the government in general, maybe things would be different. Naaaaawww!! LOL!
Now that my motor machine shop has weighed in on the actual numbers, it's ALL good.
