Yes, the vac advance appears to be working properly. When adjusting the idle mixture screw, how important is it that the air filter be on? I do not have the air filter on, could this possibly be contributing to the dead spot on initial throttle application? Can I get rid of the oil bath filter for a more modern paper element?
