No experience with that particular winch, but a snatch block and 2 or 3 runs of cable make a huge difference in the load-pulling capability of any winch. Every extra loop of cable in the sheaves adds the capacity of the winch to the total pull, while reducing the speed. A 3-line pull on a 5K winch turns it into a 15K capacity, at 1/3 the speed.
