Went out to our local swap meet today and was visiting with fellas on their car hauler winches. Didn't see any HF today (have before though). Take away was the HF winches are plenty strong enough but just don't have the functionality of the better winches. I was just going to get the 12K pound version for $400 on sale, but consistent advice was to go for a WARN 5K for about $500. Have you guys found 5K pounds is strong enough?
