I have put a vacuum gauge on it and see no fluctuation- when I'm back home and the engine has settled down, after cooling off a bit. Still hot though. I have also done a hot compression test recently and get readings between 116# to 130#. I haven't been able to check it while the disruption is actually going on- frustrating! This engine was ordered through an auto parts chain where you supply a core and they send back another engine that is already rebuilt and in their inventory. So I don't know if it is a truck or car engine, but I suspect a car.
