I would start by pulling each plug wire off, one at a time, with it running, to see if you can detect one or more cylinders that are not doing there job when the problem occurs.
If two cylinders feed by the same intake port are week you will want to look for a vacuum leak at that port.
It would also be nice to plumb a vacuum gauge to watch while driving, to see if it is a valve problem.
