Bart, I am currently on the fence about Pertronix, due to an expensive episode caused by a defective (redundant) Chinese ignition which remained ON after removal of the key (on all night). Fried the Pertronix and the coil. BTW, I have divested all interest in stock and dividends with Pertronix in order to meet your strict standards of non-partisanship.
I did not imagine the improved performance after installing the Pertronix, but I am leery of the lack of dependability. And yes, you are the internet's (not just this forum's) most interesting man. Me? I'm just thirsty all the time.
