I have vacuum wipers on my trucks. They work as well now as they worked in the good old days. My trucks are not daily drivers.

I had to be careful a few years ago in pouring rain at a truck show in Macungie, PA. Just as careful as I was in the late sixties and early seventies, when I regularly drove my Suburban in the rain, sleet, and snow.
