Even something as simple and traditional as a Lodge brand cast iron skillet isn't made in South Pittsburg Tennessee anymore- - - -"Made in China" is the going thing. Ditto for brake rotors. Casting a stovebolt cylinder head for the few hundred of us who would buy one would be an economic disaster for anyone who tried to do it, let alone doing all the years of "curing" a "green" casting by leaving it out in the weather for several years to stress-relieve before doing the final machining. Repairing cracks in cast iron isn't impossible- - - -it's just E$$$$$PENSIVE! Jerry
