Forget where i stumbled on this, probably here. Anyway i just recently made this modification to my stock seat and it works great!
Ive moved the tank out of the cab so theres even more room behind the seat now but storage is definitely at a premium in these old beasts.

Im interested to see how the drawer concept pans out.
