Totally not worth the effort, too much wasted space. Observe the LXHXW, shallow drawer at best. There's nice room there, a tilt-forward seat portion would make best use of the space with easy access, the tilting back concept by Chuck is first rate and only the practiced eye can find that one. I think that during the time Chuck proposed this someone came up with a way to easily add a lock.
