Deve, can you provide me with what is 'purist' about cutting holes in the seat base? Don't get me wrong, I am frequently on board with your outside-of-the-box thinking which you have shared over time. I would think that it would be easier to return the tilting seat modification back to original condition than re-welding the hole cut into the seat base. I'm not trying to push you back into the box. I'm just trying to understand your reasoning. Personally, I would like to have both your drawer and the tilting seat back. There just isn't anywhere to put all my junk in my cab.
