The way I was taught by my old friend was an on/off switch on the dash and a pull cable. So this necessitates the need to take it out of gear and put it back in at the correct speeds. I hadn't researched the proper way to do it enough to know about a kickdown on the carb. Learned something new. As I said, I have all the docs for everyone to share but haven't read much of it myself. Thanks, Ill shut up now.
