Delta, powermatic, general are all good products. I used to teach woodworking. Buy the heavest saw you can tollarate. I have a 60 year old wards saw with a steel cabinet anchored by a cast iron base. It is 12 inch. I put a modern delta fence on it. I am on my second baldor 2 hp motor. 2 hp will do any cabinet work if you have the right sharp blade. Saw stop is an excellent device. They have it down to a replacable cartridge if it ever has to work. I suspect most of us remove the guard which makes saw stop an even better idea. I watch people free hand wood through table saws on tv. Don,t do it. Learn the use of the tool. Like metal working welding etc learn the right way. Stay safe.
