For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall | | Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 | 51bombtruk: looks like you already got a good start!! AND, as you said, being under a carport sure helped the condition and probably saved you a lot of money!
If you plan to keep the guages original you may want to check out a post in the Electrical Forum. A guy there is planning to actually print the guage faces as original and it appears at a good price. (just a thought)
Oh, welcome to the bolt. You'll fit right in and with all your experience with AD's I'm sure you'll be a big help to me and others. Nice to have you. Pull up a chair and stay awhile.
There is lots of folks around from Texas and some of them have a get together. I'm sure you'll meet them and get to know them. Heck, you may be "right up the road" from some of them!! | | | | | Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 4,215 Moderator | | Moderator Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 4,215 | Welcome bombtruck, this is a good place to be. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 3,750 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 3,750 | Hi 51 bombtruk, A warm welcome to the 'bolt! It is a funny thing but mice seem to have such good taste in housing, don't they? We all look forward to your posts. They would go in through the rusted out cab corners(inner and outer) since thats the only openings the truck had. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 3,750 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 3,750 | That is a very nice truck that you picked up.
