Hey there, just introducing myself. My name is Carlos, and I have just taken on my first project. I decided to make a career change to start working on vehicles. Don't have any experience restoring/rebuilding classics. I'm completely novice. I'm in the process of going back to school to get some kind of basic knowledge and foundation. Got to start somewhere. Here's a couple photos of her. Looking forward to the journey ahead.

There is a wealth of information here and loads of nice folks always willing to help with sound advice.
Any question you have, just post it in the appropriate category... even if you put it n the wrong one, the moderator's are super nice and will relocate it for you for best results!
Plus there is a section where you can find parts... maybe even a freebie!
Spend a few minutes checking out the Tech Tips and try the Advanced Search... we've been there and done that.

I have a '59 project underway also. I have a million pics on Facebook but decided to create a more concise page for the project.

Welcome to the Bolt Los59. That project sure looks better than some I've drug home!! I also like the twin headlights even though I've never owned one.
Hellomrwilson is correct. This is THE best chevy GMC truck site on the web for our old iron.
Take lots of pictures and be patient, grasshopper. We'll help get you there. There's also been many "young" men before you and its amazing what you all can accomplish. I was young once myself LOL

Thanks guys for the welcoming. I appreciate it very much. When I first bought this truck (first time buyer) it was only the second time I had seen it. I didn't realize how much it was not functional and was a bit overwhelmed. I feel better now so I hope you guys are ready for a big slew of questions in the near future. Thanks!!!
