Maybe had the wrong bolts installed that hold the flywheel on and they caused the disc to hit them? | | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 | Don makes a good point those bolts need to be factory, nothing else really works as they have a very thin head. They should also be replaced if you remove the flywheel for any reason, cheap insurance against stretched or galled threads. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 134 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 134 | The flywheel bolts looked correct when I put the new clutch in tonight. That clutch was installed back in 1991, ran until 1995, parked until this year and ran daily for the last month. | | |
