The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Interiors Special tool needed to replace window glass?

Went to swap out my left side window glass last night and noticed the 4 screws that secure the window frame to the regulator had some odd-ball tooling holes. They don't look like rounded phillips and an allen wrench doesn't work. I tried a modified allen wrench but after a try or 2 decided not to round out the hole.
I haven't started searching yet but figured the stovebolt would be the 1st place to start.

see if it's on this list - maybe the glass has been replaced in the past and someone used what was handy

If I remember correctly those are small clutch head bolts that hold the window frame to the regulator. Do a search and you will see lots of previous discussions about "clutch head" screws and bolts on this forum.

These 4 clutch heads are difficult to remove because they rust in, spray them with penetrating oil. The are very short about 1/4" long but always exposed to weather. If they don't loosen and start to round off use vice grips to get them turning. With the cardboard removed there is a narrow slot just below the opening to access them with window rolled down about 2".

Belated update, they are definitely clutchhead screws and as been posted bits and drivers are readily available online.
Instead of ordering and waiting for them, I went ahead and used a small vise grip to break them loose and I had a square bit that was just big enough to fit and turn them out. Got the new to me and uncracked drivers side window installed and tightened everything back up w/the square bit & vise grips.
I was so motivated that I reinstalled the new to me custom side panels and I got to say the old gal is looking pretty good now, for a weekend cruiser
