on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! The spacings really tight between 1 and 2, and 5 and 6 on the inner flange that the others fit on. It looks like a longer bolt would allow clamping on what appears to be an outer flange. If not, is there a kit? Thanks! You should use a 235 manifold vs. the 38 for sure, but you could make the 216 work with 235 but not the best set up. Between cylinders 1-2, and 5-6 it's too tight to get a socket in there. Is there a difference in the clamps and washers between 216 and 235? Trying to avoid doing it twice! Thanks! It's slow & a real pain but I finally got them tight. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 388 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 388 | On my 37 truck with a 56 235, I had to resort to box end wrenches to tighten the manifold bolts you are talking about.
