There wasn't necessarily a specific brand that was used on all trucks, it could vary depending on what was available to a given plant at the time. The most common brands for the time, though, would be Goodyear and Firestone. At this time, there isn't a direct radial truck tire that has a bias "look" or vintage branding. Closest will be to go with a 215/85/16 or 235/85/16, which in a modern radial, still have the "tall and narrow" look that the old bias plys have. Any tire shop can get them, and they are also available from online sources such as Tire Rack. As far as brands for a modern tire go, I'm partial to Michelin or BF Goodrich.
