I bought a 1941 Chevy Pickup on eBay recently, so recently that it hasn't arrived at my house. I do have pictures that shows a rear frame, no bed (seller says it was a factory flatbed), some body rust, good front fenders (with some dents), a grille, hood and front bumper in fine condition (need cleaning up) and all glass intact. The identification numbers shown are DEA351941 and below those are 21DR-J 203??? (? = unreadable). Do these numbers signify anything important? My intention is to get the mechanical problems, I'm sure there are many, taken care of and then recreate the flatbed design. No doubt, I'll have many questions and need much advice as this project progresses. BUT, first I must get it home from the west coast to Maryland. I'll be back.
