Wheelbase, cab mtg, gas filler, tranny hole, ebrake, steering, pedals and linkages, bumpers, body to frame "nesting" and as Red said and as Scott said and lots more. Most of the time they look like what they are.

We had to move our V8 mounting back about 5" to clear the radiator. be flexible and change what you will need to. 2 shiny bolts show our stock mounting locationmoved it

Are you just trying to upgrade the steering and suspension or is your frame shot? Might be easier to rework your frame and add better suspension and steering. Anything is possible with enough money.
