For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 5,070 Authorized Pest | | Authorized Pest Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 5,070 | Yes, this has been a long time in the DOING (a lot is around here).
If you read the intro, it was a little hard to relate to the idea that someone in your neighboring state could be over 400 miles away. You see, we are all crammed in on top of each other practically here on the East Coast. It amazes us when someone wants to come from Delaware, let along New York!
But ... after trying to do just the PNW ... which is huge ... this was at least a good starting point.
So ... go on now. Let's see who's out there.
And for those asking "What about us?" ... this Side Lot is under construction still. Someday it will be all fixed ... or better anyway.
Enjoy, Peg

No ID cards required We are just trying to make "spots" I guess you'd say. For some folks, traveling a piece is "fun." The farthest I like to drive is 15 minutes to the grocery store. We figured the folks from Canada will slip down here some, too - which should make it fun. We have one fellow who is working on a GABFest around the Seattle area, to include those fine BC Bolters. I'm sure you'll hear from him soon. Peg

The idea of running down to the Bay for a concert at the polo grounds isn't as doable as it once was, but the memories of 23hr Seattle to LA road trips remain... My favorite is the stretch of I5 between Roseburg and Grants Pass.
I Love's some of them curves!

Enjoy, Peg Peggy, 4 hours will get you about a third of the way through California. That's why we have had such a hard time putting together a gabfest. I have done two in St Helena, but that's a long way for many of the Californian bolters'. See this LINK to get the idea! And if you want to go to BC CANADA , figure on 23hours and that's only traveling through three states! | | | | | Joined: Feb 2012 Posts: 61 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Feb 2012 Posts: 61 | Hi all!
