Yes, this has been a long time in the DOING (a lot is around here).

If you read the intro, it was a little hard to relate to the idea that someone in your neighboring state could be over 400 miles away. You see, we are all crammed in on top of each other practically here on the East Coast. It amazes us when someone wants to come from Delaware, let along New York!

But ... after trying to do just the PNW ... which is huge ... this was at least a good starting point.

So ... go on now. Let's see who's out there.

And for those asking "What about us?" ... this Side Lot is under construction still. Someday it will be all fixed ... or better anyway.

Enjoy,
Peg

Anyone can play in this sandbox who would like to. No ID cards required grin

We are just trying to make "spots" I guess you'd say. For some folks, traveling a piece is "fun." The farthest I like to drive is 15 minutes to the grocery store.

We figured the folks from Canada will slip down here some, too - which should make it fun. We have one fellow who is working on a GABFest around the Seattle area, to include those fine BC Bolters. I'm sure you'll hear from him soon.

Peg

West coast gypsy here, trucks from Camp Nelson,Ca, engine was rebuilt in Fresno, and the body has/is being done up here in the top of Oregon. The idea of running down to the Bay for a concert at the polo grounds isn't as doable as it once was, but the memories of 23hr Seattle to LA road trips remain... My favorite is the stretch of I5 between Roseburg and Grants Pass.

I Love's some of them curves!

Wow! Look at all these faces popping up from this side of the ridge. Thanks Peg, for setting this up.

I'm here on the west slope of the Sierra in Calaveras County. Could almost coast to Sacramento grin

Hey Straightjacket. I drive past your place every fall on the way up to Humboldt County for a run we do up there. Would like to stop by. But I gotta tell ya, I think I'm in love with Miss Betty nono So, maybe you'd just as soon I don't come by. And you said summer anyway. "Sigh".
Really, great to hear everyone. Give me a shout anytime. Got any questions about trucks, let me have em. I'll do my best to steer you on a crooked path. chug

Peggy, 4 hours will get you about a third of the way through California. That's why we have had such a hard time putting together a gabfest. I have done two in St Helena, but that's a long way for many of the Californian bolters'. See this LINK to get the idea! And if you want to go to BC CANADA , figure on 23hours and that's only traveling through three states!

You're right there in my stomping grounds. I'm in Citrus Heights. I get up to the Cameron Park/El Dorado Hills area quite a bit.
