It's the 'F' cab and I am not sure what the originals looked like, but my shifter boot was a big square looking thing (no good).
It has the 4 speed sm420 transmission and the grip lever brake..
Thanks for any pointers.

What I have on the fire engine is an inverted boot, it is attached to the floor but hangs down below the floor. This was done due to the long throw of the lever. I even talked to Steel and they said they wouldn't make them even with a good sample because they can't sell enough to justify making them. Let us know if anyone finds a source. I'll have to see what I have for materials, but I have a couple shades of vinyl nagahyde available around here somewhere.
I made a dual boot for my dump levers and a boot for my shifter and brake. Didn't go for fancy, just sewed them to the carpet insulation and cut the rubber mat to fit over that. Came out pretty clean and does the job nicely.
