Almost done rewiring my truck. I dropped my left side running light lens and it broke. I know it's a long shot but anyone have a spare I could buy? thanks for your time Tom.

Hey Tom,

I think the running lights are aftermarket, and therefore, different. I would suggest putting this topic in the swap section, so the 'ones with power' will not scold you, but also, there is a greater likelyhood that you will find what you are looking for. I may be able to help if I can see what it is that you're looking for, and also, do a 'running light' search on ebay. There are usually quite a few there... hope this helps,

Thanks Tom, my mistake - I am talking about the parking lights. The little one above the head light.

Try putting a post in the Parts Wanted section of the swap meet in this forum. Also, I have seen "new in the box" lenses on Ebay this past week, so try there.

I have been in the trucking business for 49 years and hear people talking about "running lights". Sometimes they are on the truck and sometimes on the trailer. I am totally clueless what so called "running lights" are, but it usually refers to a bunch of extra lights that are not needed to be legal.

Top left of this page makes plastic repro. ones for '41-'47, might make later ones, too.

Hey guys, just a heads up. I got the lenses on E bay, thks Lightholders Dad ! repo and very good and cheap to!I was really impressed, the lenses for the COE's are longer than the 1/2 ton's. So I was very pleased to be able to git them, 2 places had em, I got them from a guy - E bay name Neonman52,only mention this because has I said. I thought the stuff was really good quality and only about 30 bucks for both,thanks again.

I love e-bay I have found the most obscure parts for odd items like my 80 year old drill press. It amazes me every time I enter data plate info and find just what I need.

Did 300 miles in the old truck, the Desert tried to kill us both. The truck and me - 29 Palms, was about 118 degrees. There was a little show on the Marine base, that my Brother was helping to put on. Brought the COE and a couple old motorcycles, made it there and back in great shape. I think though it was the hotest my truck or me have ever been. When I got there/ left at 3:15 am - got there about 6:30am, it was 90 degrees! I have had enough heat for a while, I tell you!.

I never liked 29 stumps much but then again I was never there for a car show sounds like more fun than any of the times I was there LOL.
