Gotta give a big thanks to Jim Carter. I ordered a bunch of interior detail parts for my '52 on-line Tuesday night and they got here already. Now granted, I'm only 420 miles away but that is quick service and the BEST part......In the comments section at the bottom of the order form, I typed in that I was a member here and saw them on the home page. They gave me a 10% discount on the entire order. I figure I saved around $25. Guess I better make a contribution to the forum as a THANKS !

On the other hand, I just got a package from the Filling Station today and they charged an OUTRAGEOUS shipping cost, based on the amount of the sale. Not the actual cost to ship the box, like Jim Carter. I WON'T be buying anything from them again with that kind of rip-off. Parts cost enough as it is without the vendor making a profit on the shipping too.

I agree on all counts....including a bit to the Stovebolt. What would we do without it? I'll mail mine in the morning.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
