My truck came with an ign key but no door key and I'm thinking of just resetting the pins in the door tumblers to match the ign. (Anti theft dealt with separately) Looking for any tips you may have.

'64 got lucky. Was there a separate key for door and ignition or were they keyed the same originally?

Finding a locksmith with a code book that is over 50 years obsolete may be a problem.
