What am I doing wrong? I hooked up the battery wire to the battery and the field wire to the positive post on the alternator. I hooked the idiot light wire up to a bulb. Any thoughts? | | |

Then at the battery positive terminal? When engine is running, both should read 13.5+ volts. If not, then the alternator maybe bad...that is if your alternator is an internal regulator type. But I'm sure you know that if the alternator is an external regulator type, then you'll need to connect a voltage regulator to it. [img] http://www.novaresource.org/alt/chargcircuit.gif[/img] | | |
