NAPCO provided upfit kits to convert trucks to 4wd. They were also used by Chevy and GMC as a "factory" optioned 4wd starting with the task force and blue chip trucks around 1955. I'm not sure if it was offered by the factory first in 1955 or 1956. I believe 1956 GMC trucks were advertised as having it available.

1955-1959 Blue Chip trucks are GMCs analogous to Task Force year Chevrolet trucks (as in New Design GMC being same years as Advance-Design Chevrolet trucks).

That Money-Maker term can easily be found on many GMC ads from 56 onwards. Can you find an example in 1955 (GMC documentation or sales advertisement)?

I saw it in a 57 ad. I don't think I have seen it in 58-59 ads.
