I got new bolts at the Carlisle show a couple years ago. They were exactly like the originals.I found that the washers would not come off the bolts. I may have a few left over ones if you want them.

Are the after market fender washers the same or just some flat style washer. If so any one know where I can obtain originals. It looks like they are made to hold good and not shift around.

| | | | | Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 328 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 328 | The original rears are 5/16" coarse thread bolts about an 1 1/4" in length with fairly large star like washers. These washers are affixed to the shank of the bolts and are slightly "mushroomed" so as to pinch the sheet metal tightly.
The washers are roughly an inch or so in diameter . All but two of mine were gone, too,
so I just used new 5/16 bolts and flat washers .... worked fine.
