Yes, box is definitely not a Chevy. Almost looks like it was fabricated, using International tailgate ? Fenders & running boards look like Chevy. This forum is a great place to get information and ask questions. For parts you can start with Jim Carter Truck Parts, and Chev's of the '40's. I was suprized how much stuff was available. Have fun !

I've got a 46 2-ton- guess I like that year.
The way I feel is that an old truck will have a lot more to work with than what you think. Those people back then made things work as you can see it doesn't look that bad.
