Alvin was looking for a photo, and in my hunt, it was fun looking at the past year's Reunions.

We don't have them all on Photobucket, but here is what we do have:

Stovebolt Reunion in 2007 -- That is pictures we took. Look to the right to see pix by 27 Capitol; 48bigtrucks; Avette4me; Builder; Cletis; Dakota; Down2Sea; Oehm;

2008 Reunion -- To the right of the screen and you'll see a listing for those taken by Cletis, Mongo, Terry K, and Scott Ward.

2009 Reunion -- Cletis has some extra pix on the right.

2010 Reunion - Toto's big year. Cletis has photos, too.

2011 Reunion -- last year, I think I finally put them all in one folder. Plus, we didn't get a chance to take many ourselves.

Enjoy ... great memories. Someday (yea right), I'll get the other year's on there.

I know that for sure, Grand-son is a soph in college, grand-daughters that help with the IRWIPT count will be in 5th grade and Junior high.......

I have not indicated yet if we will be there, we are thinking about being there Wed or Thursday and take in a Ranger game,
I hesitate to say because I have a bad habit as of late of planning something and then talk my way out of it.. about to drive Carolyn crazy with my mood swings but I will let you know on the for sure count list later

No problems with last minute plans. *I* am not a last-minute person (hehehe). I think most of these things will gell by about the 22nd or so.

I just finished the shirts. Remember, I am not the Photoshop / artist person. So, I've sent them off to Mongo to look over to see if it's too corny to be worn in public.

John is busy spraying for bugs and fungus. He'll come in soaking wet and tired. So ... I am delegating ... hopefully Mongo will have a few minutes to look it over. He's a high-speed kind of guy. Plus, he does this stuff for a living.

Sure hope you get to come Fred. Many people will be glad to have you there. I can put you in charge of picture taking!!!

Cleaning up the Annual Stovebolt Reunion (Kansas City) forum. Gonna take a while but should be a nice trip down memory lane. Started at the beginning here. Fixed the broken links in the first post. Apparently, Photobucket did something on their end. I think I may find a bunch of broken links.

These were still fun to look at. 2007 (first post here) was a long time ago. Everyone looking good.

Thanks Peggy, 2016, Our first Reunion. Brought back lots of good memories.

Cool pictures, Theresa and I were in all of the group pics except 2010 the year my oldest son was married. Thanks for posting them. Good times for sure.

2008 was to be my first year for the truck but I got as far as Indy and it overheated so I had to drive my PT cruiser. Then another year I had issues and drove my Buick Encore. So 2019 was my last year there with the truck. Not being much of a cameraman and Photobucket swallowing what I did take I can only say good memories and thanks to Peggy for posting and also say we all missed her when she could not make it. Another good memory is when for the first time JDL came with me. I look back a marvel at the fact his mother let him go with a stranger when he was I believe 14 and then he was 16 and he drove my 54 from St Louis to KC and then from KC back to Indiana. It did make the trip less tiring for me. He did not want to get out even for a potty break, I think he was afraid that I would not let him drive anymore. BTW it was his first trip out of state and the first time at a fast food restaurant.

Glad I’ve been to a couple of reunions and Mongos meet up is on the bucket list of things to do great when you can put faces to posts and meet the real deal. hope Alvin is getting mobile and Ron you have been to few reunions and glad to have Don King as friend now seeing Cletis on the doodle bug bought back good memories

Thanks for all these comments and memories. I'm so tempted to respond but I need to wait a bit.

I've been pondering how to get this all lined up, so stay tuned. Once I get it mapped out, I'm thinking there will be spots where we'd like folks to recall (year by year). THAT'S when I can post, too!

And ... we may have more stuff here on the computers. So I'll have to weed thru that too.

Thanks, Peggy, I was at all those reunions as well. Nice shot of Ned in there. Lots of friendships made at those gatherings.

And finding a bunch of stuff.

A great group photo from KCR 2008. This one has the names mapped over the faces. This is good group!!

This has been fun. Lots of loose ends to piece together.

From recall with John, the first "Reunion" was a GABFest of sorts. The Genuine Chevy GMC Truck Club of Kansas City provided an automatic gathering. I recall some of the Bolters who were there posted about the event. After talking with some of them afterwards, it seemed that this venue was a perfect spot for an annual, nation-wide event. It was in the middle of the country. Easy to get to. Already had a pile of old truck enthusiasts nearby. A main mover and shaker with the Club and All Truck Nationals (the event name) was Mongo, who was our Hi-Po moderator. All these guys seemed excited about the idea (and proved to be huge promoters!).

Not sure if there are some photos around from that first event, but I'll look. And if anyone has any recollection of that first one, please let us know.

I DO have a write up with great details from the "Second Annual Stovebolt Reunion" - September 2006. It is in an webpage but it isn't in the server, as I could tell. I'll get to that over the next few days.

That 2008 pic is very cool. There were nine of us from Omaha. My youngest son Michael was even there.

Yes, Michael is in that big photo (that has the faces marked - mouse over - with names).

Some fun shots and a good story. I think I have more of these and this is all part of this KC Annual Reunion clean-up.

I need to hear from George Capito about that very first one. And any others that were there before it became an "annual" even for Stovebolt Collective.

You might ask Scott Ward about it, I don't think he missed any of those events.

I made them all, even in 2020, that got cancelled. But, I've been going since 2005.
