1950 3600, rear axle, inner and outer bearings. I'm thinking its impossible to get the original type barrel shaped roller bearings, and it'll have to be tapered rollers, which is ok, as long as they fit. I've tried FLAPS, only NAPA and Advance up here, with no luck. Jim Carter sent some chinese bearings that wouldn't fit over the end of the axle. I thought I'd found them at Truck Shop, and paid extra for "BCA original type bearings", but got made in Japan tapered rollers, but at least they fit. Any source I haven't seen out there?

Have you tried going to your local Motion Industries/FAG/Timken dealer? If it is in the catalog they can get it.

So long as you have the bearing number, give these guys a call.

The Japanese bearings are probably quite good. Who makes them? MBS is one type that I've used in my '53 with great success. Those were original ball type.

I'd be very happy with the Japanese bearings. Every one I've seen have been very high quality.

Thank You to everyone that responded, and to Brad for the Motion Industries suggestion, I had not heard of them. They don't know old trucks, but with bearing numbers their pretty good. Should have some one the way today, and the price was better than I found anywhere else. Thanks again, hope to be rolling soon.
